Our History

Our expertise extends to working with main contractors and bespoke housing developers, where we undertake works ranging from refurbishment of office space, care homes, museums, education facilities, hotels, leisure facilities and swimming pools.

Our team has extensive experience working on construction sites in Bristol and surrounding areas. Each member is equipped with CSCS cards, while our supervisors hold SSSTS qualifications. This ensures our capability to seamlessly collaborate with main contractors, working together to achieve health and safety standards.

Heritage

The company was founded by Ted Rowles over half a century ago and the company remains family-owned and run under the guidance of the current directors, Nick and Melanie Rowles. Ted’s daughter, Lorraine and grandson Levi also play key roles within the company, continuing the family tradition. Our story is one of enduring family values passed down through generations. We aim to continue to uphold the principles and dedication set by Ted when the company first started.

All work is carried out to a very high standard and they are a user friendly firm to deal with and have a ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving and provide invaluable advise on design and specification matters.

I’ve been a QS in the south west for over 20 years and have regularly called upon Rowles & Co to complete my tiling subcontract packages. The team are very responsive, always a good finish and will definitely be using again!
